A great, cute, inexpensive gift option !
I wanted something cute and small and easy to make for small gifts, and I got it with these awesome Candy Heart pockets ! I used thicker vinyl for the windows, and while the first one took an hour, the rest went far more quickly - I'd made templates for the felts and vinyl by then. The family I made them for loved them ! I also used Mike & Ike candies bought from Dollar Tree - two boxes did five well-stuffed hearts - because I like how they looked. I repurposed one of my early efforts as a photo frame, it's so cute ! They'd also make nice ornaments for any holiday. I hope to make more soon, there's so much pretty felt out there, and so many people who I'd love to make a small gift for. My primary care's staff, the surgeons, support staff at the VA.... for less than a dollar, I can give great !
